Orisinal is one of my favorite game sites and they have a new one brought to my attention by Justin Katz.
Called High Delivery, you must collect flowers in a bottle. You use a fan to blow a balloon around to collect the flowers and then eventually drop them off at their intended destination.
The “competition” of placing the balloon the optimal location coupled with the wonderful soundtrack is what sets this game apart. Of course, noting the wonderful soundtrack in an Orisinal game is rather redundant. The intended destination is the final graceful note to the game.
In the end, the game notes how may flowers were delivered. I would have perhaps said that the flowers were returned, not delivered. After all, from where were the flowers coming in the first place?

Let’s talk about the Tragedy of the Bunnies. A great Flash-based game that illustrates quite well the concept known as the “Tragedy of the Commons.”

Fly the Wire Game
Allen June 4th, 2004
I guess today is gaming Friday for me. Found another cool game that you can play online. Click on http://kmb.com.hk/chi/wonder/finaleasy0110.swf to play a game similar to the “guide the character around the wire and the buzzer will sound if you touch one of the wires”. Not a very nifty title, but there you go.

Retro64 Computer Games

Found a new site with downloadable games via Dean’s World. Click on Retro64 Computer Games to see their full suite of game goodies.
I’ve just sampled two of them. One, Marbles Deluxe, is supposedly a remake of the Marbles game for the Amiga. As a current owner of one of the original Amiga 500s, I remember more vividly Marble Madness with a totally different gamefeel. (Note to self: Sell the Amiga) However, this game is still pretty cool with lots of brain puzzlers.
However, my favorite, like Dean, is Platypus. It is a claymation-based side-scroller shoot-em-up. Each graphic was hand molded in clay, so the graphics have a warm, rounded feel to them.
