While listening to WKY on the way to work this morning, I heard on Mark Shannon’s show that Hinrichs attempted to enter the stadium at least two times and was turned away at the gates.
BTW, NewsOK.com (and therefore Channel 9) are way, way ahead of the other news organizations on this event. Video e-cast just confirmed what I heard.
Just a note about OU and FBI being tightlipped about the whole proceedings. When you are hunting turkeys, you sit quietly and call them in. You don’t scream, "TURKEY!!!!" the first time you see one.
