Rarely heard: This Is A Wasteland. Screw It.

I was riding home from work today when I heard a reporter on NPR discussing some area.  The quote in the piece reported that environmentalists were worried about the impact on the area.

So when, exactly, has an environmentalist not expressed concern about an area?  How many press releases have been dispersed wherein concerned people were worried?  Compare that number to the number issued where they really didn’t give a hoot?

Just wondering….

As a note, work and home still overwhelming my time so blogging will continue to be light.  Lots and lots of draft postings waiting.

Yeah, well, what do they know? Their daddies didn’t pay for them to go to prep school, Harvard and then post-graduate studies in Deconstructional Theory.

So really, their opinions are not fully informed and can safely be ignored.

Actually, as is the case with ANWR (and I’m sure others), the locals (native american sorts) really want the drilling to start to supply their people with jobs and the communities with money. Their enthusiasm has most astonishingly been ignored by environmentalists. Go figure…
