I’ve noticed that a large number of webloggers are ‘live-blogging’ the debate. I’ve decided to let my Uncle Frank dead-blog it for me. Uncle Fred died earlier this afternoon while on a visit. So I’ll drag him over here to give his impressions of the debate. I’ll follow up later with my own brief analysis.
Take it away Uncle Fred:

I agree with Uncle Fred that Kerry won on style, but not on substance.
Allah has a roundup of all the webloggers reactions. One of my favorites is from Garfield Ridge: “One man spoke gibberish, but has a clear stance. The other man spoke clearly, but his stance is gibberish.”
Liberal Larry had this to offer:
Another thing that Kerry said which really hit home was that he’d sit down with Iran, and give them nuclear material in return for their promise that they won’t use it to build nukes. Bill Clinton used this same strategy to great success with North Korea, and it wasn’t until the Shrub insulted them with proof that they were building nukes that they stepped away from the Agreed Upon Framework. Now, thanks to Bush, the whole world is living under a cloud of fear knowing that Kim Jong Il has 5 nuclear weapons. As president, John Kerry will return to the table with North Korea so that they can continue their nuclear program in secret, thus sparing us from worrying about it.
PS: Sorry about the late post as it is now Friday morning. I fell asleep during the last part of the debates and just drug Uncle Fred off the keyboard.
