Talibanland?

I read how Tourists Pay for a Night of Abuse In Latvian Prison over at Tom McMahon site. The original article is from The Moscow Times.

Apparently tourists are willing to plop down $9 to be humiliated and abused by faux-Communist guards.

So this gets me to thinking. Would those who seek to defend the Muslim extremists be willing to pay $18 (after all, the US is a rich nation) to pretend they are in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan?

I can see it now. Once you get inside the gates of Talibanland, all the women are beaten for not wearing the required burqua. All the men are beaten because their beards are not of sufficient length. Any expression of heretical ideas would only double your punishment.

I figured I wouldn’t actually have to spend that much money on the park grounds itself. Most visitors would flee after experiencing the first 20 or so feet of the park.

Now if I can just get the lawyers to sign off on the business plan…
